Now that we’re all looking for both exercise and alternative transportation, bicycles are becoming more popular than before.  In the Proctor District, bicycles have ALWAYS been welcome!

You’ll find bike racks at the Tacoma Public Library at N. 26th and N. Adams, and on the sidewalks outside most stores, such as the Starbuck’s and the two groceries stores.

The Proctor District also features businesses where you can purchase a new bike, get your existing bike repaired, buy accessories in many price levels, and talk with knowledgeable bicycle experts!
